Annual testing event 2023
Sunday November 19th
Our annual PSA testing event in Milton Keynes took place at the WINDMILL HILL GOLF CLUB .
In association with the Graham Fulford Charitable Trust more than 280 men were tested for their PSA levels.
Volunteers from the MK Prostate Cancer Support Group assemble ready to welcome the 280+ men who have responded to our call for testing. The Mayor of Milton Keynes called in on us to lend support for this great cause.
280+ men arrived over a four hour period.
They were registered at arrival.
After responding to a quick questionnaire, they joined a short queue and minutes later were having their blood sample taken.
Four stations were set up and manned by the volunteers at the Graham Fulford Charitable Trust to take blood samples.
A quick but professional process enabled 280+ men to have a blood sample taken.

Most men were in and out of the testing stations in minutes.
Black men have a three times higher risk of getting prostate cancer than white men of the same age, but the risk for Asian and Chinese men is lower.
Andy Thomas who co owns Totally Converged - The Future of Business Communication has donated £500 to MKPCS to help fund the testing.
